Screamer from Nobbs Seals Victory for Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur 3-3 Aston Villa

Tottenham Hotspur moved up to third place in the Women's Super League on Monday after securing a thrilling 3-3 draw against Aston Villa at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Rachel Williams opened the scoring for Spurs in the first half, but Villa responded with two goals from Rachel Daly. England international Jordan Nobbs then leveled the match for Spurs with a stunning screamer from outside the box.

The second half saw both teams trade blows, with Aston Villa taking the lead once again through Daly before Tottenham equalized through a header from Molly Bartrip. The match ultimately ended in a 3-3 draw, with both teams showcasing their attacking prowess.

Spurs manager Rehanne Skinner praised her team's performance after the match, saying, "We showed great resilience and determination to come back from behind three times. We're still a young team, but we're learning and improving all the time. We're looking forward to the rest of the season and pushing for a top-three finish."

Aston Villa manager Carla Ward was also pleased with her team's performance, saying, "We're disappointed not to get the win, but we showed great character to come from behind twice. Rachel Daly was excellent today, and she's really showing her class in the WSL this season."
