Avalanche Beat Stars 4-3 in Overtime, Tie Series

Andrew Cogliano scored the game-tying goal with 5:07 remaining in the third period, and Artturi Lehkonen scored at 11:03 of overtime as the Colorado Avalanche rallied for a 4-3 victory over the Dallas Stars in Game 5 of their second-round series.
The Avalanche trailed 3-0 in the second period before rallying to tie the game and force overtime.
Nathan MacKinnon, who had two assists, scored the Avalanche's first goal, a power-play goal at 14:30 of the second period.
Mikko Rantanen scored at 11:29 of the third period to cut the Stars' lead to one, and then Cogliano tied the game with a wrist shot from just inside the blue line.
In overtime, Lehkonen took a pass from MacKinnon and beat Stars goaltender Jake Oettinger with a wrist shot from the slot.
The Avalanche, who won the Presidents Trophy with the NHL's best regular-season record, are now 3-2 in the series, which shifts back to Denver for Game 6 on Friday.
The Stars, who finished second in the Central Division, are now 2-3 in the series and face elimination in Game 6.
